Recisio at MIDEM 2012

Pursuing our commercial development worldwide and in an effort to strengthen our relationships with our music partners, we are pleased to announce that Recisio will be attending Midem this year.
We'll be location on the SCPP (L5.05) showroom from 01/28 to 01/31.
Feel free to ask for an appointment right now by email.

Okarima Service Launch

Among challenges that Recisio is facing in 2012 is the monetization of signed catalogs with its publishing partners.
Illegal Karaoke uses on the web are countless and do not generate any revenues for rights holders. As a result, we have decided to launch the service Okarima aimed at monitoring and removing on behalf of right holders any 'toxic' Karaoke content from social video platforms.
Partners like Sony ATV, Warner Chappell, Peer Music and Emha have already joined the service.
More to come !

Partnership with Music Sales and Yamaha

Tency Music, our Music production partner, has just signed an exclusive agreement with the leading publishing group Music Sales UK and hardware manufacturer Yamaha to supply its Masters catalog for a new iPad digital App.

KaraFun update

We're really happy to announce the release of the new version of KaraFun, our flagship online karaoke website.
In an effort to make it more simple and user-friendly, we've redesigned the layout, and a bunch of new features are coming along this update (including the new Android application).
We've also decided to discontinue the distribution of Karafun Studio, our karaoke editor, which is a step forward in favor of our publishing partners. Although Karafun Studio has quickly become the reference karaoke editing tool worldwide, illegal usage has been made with it, which convinced us to stop the distribution of the software to show our support to the publishing industry.
We still want to thank all of our fans who have been supporting Karafun Studio over the years.
